Product Description
Wire Rope refers to a flexible rope twisted with multiple or multiple strands of thin steel wires. The Steel Wire Rope is a rope twisted into a spiral with a certain number of strands twisted around the core of the rope. In material handling machinery, it is used for lifting, traction, tensioning and carrying. The steel wire rope has high strength, light weight, stable work, not easy to be broken suddenly, and reliable work. Wire ropes are standard products in all industrial countries. The diameter, number of strands, number of steel wires per share, tensile strength and sufficient safety factor can be selected according to the needs of the application. Its specifications and models can be found in the relevant manuals. In addition to the wear of the outer layer of the steel wire, the wire rope is mainly broken due to metal fatigue caused by repeated bending when bypassing the pulley and drum. Therefore, the ratio of the pulley or drum to the wire rope diameter is an important factor in determining the life of the wire rope. The ratio is large, the bending stress of the steel wire is small, and the service life is long, but the mechanism is huge. The appropriate ratio must be determined according to the use occasion. The wire rope surface layer should be scrapped when the degree of wear and corrosion or the number of broken wires in each twisting distance exceeds the specified value.
